Florida
- Door lock monitoring: All elevators in the state of Florida must have this system added by August 1, 2025.
- 2019 code 2-way communication: This rule is not retroactive. Any elevator that is new construction or modernized after January 1, 2024 must have this installed with their new equipment.
- Ascending car overspeed or unintended motion: All traction elevators in the state of Florida must have this system added by August 2027.
Nevada
- Door lock monitoring: All elevators in the state of Nevada must have this system added by 2025.
- 2019 code 2-way communication: This rule is not retroactive. Any elevator that is new construction or modernized must have this installed with their new equipment.
- Ascending car overspeed or unintended motion: All traction elevators in the state of Nevada must have this system added by 2025.
- Door restrictors: All elevators in the state of Nevada must have this system added on by 2025.
Texas
- 2019 code 2-way communication: Any elevator that is new construction or modernized must have this installed with their new equipment.
